This is a Rev Blue Bogner Uberschall that was modified by Trace at Voodoo Amps. I was told it took a year and cost quite a bit. The previous owner was not 100% sure what the changes made were though. To my ears (I am no Uberschall guru) is this thing has been smoothed out a bit on both channels, most noticeably on the highs.
The clean channel on this thing is not just usable, but is actually really good. It has a smooth top end (glassy, if you will) and a nice shimmer to it. Very responsive to play dynamics. I have only had one amp with betters cleans personally. I think almost all of the work done was to affect this channel.
The gain channel is still pretty much your Uberschall tone, but a bit less "fizz" and a touch fatter/smoother. Overall though, it still sounds an Uberschall. I have owned a lot of amps, but this one has given me the best lead tone of anything I have owned, but I have never owned a IIC+ or anything for comparison.
There is one imperfection on it (pictured) and that is the inner left corner has a small dent on the edge if you were looking at the front of it.
I also took it in to my local amp guru to make sure it had a clean bill of health. It was just cleaned up on the inside, the tube sockets tightened up, and tubes checked out good, so just regular maintenance and no actual work was needed.
