I like going serial simple and easy. what is a good multi fx unit so I can sell some pedals? Seems Line 6 Delay box gets lots of use? What about eventide stuff?

I'm a HOOOOOOOOGE fan of the 'Tides... You don't even need a rack 'Tide, the Pitch and the Time are ample enough stomps (the Pitch does incredible mods too, so unless you're completely into flanging and phasing and vibrato and everything else, the P-Factor can do some super nice effects on its own).

Eventide TimeFactor here, currently running in series.

running a Keeley Mod LIne 6 DL4 in the serial loop of my 20th XTC and it sounds great.

Curious maybe lame question can any do a double delay thing? Like u2 where he uses one long delay, followed by a short delay? Or would I need two DL4 or e'tides?

Tell me why you prefer the serial over the parallel if ya don't mind

Thanks for the info - I'm in the midst of learning the ABC's of my 20thA and all I can say thus far is, it's a bloody masterpiece!!

The Eventide T-Factor can't run anymore than 1 effect at a time, however, the parameters necessary to do what you're speaking about above can be done with some serious recon work on the controls available on the T-Factor.

Demeter Reverbulator :2thumbsup:

Dual reverb tanks in a pedal.

The Timefactor could do this very easily...do yourself a favor and do a 'U2 timefactor' search on YouTube; you will be impressed.

People seem to have a love / hate relationship with the Factor pedals, and I have absolutley no idea why...only bitch I have is the wall wart power supply  ; other than that, they are easily worth the high $ price.

Thanks. Btw Bronco u will love the Marsha Daves shop is near me. Amazing sounding amp. Very unique, I am waiting for $$ to mod my jmp. I will checkout YouTube

Nice! It just so happens I'm going to be in SOCAL this weekend and will be checking out the new TM / Racksystems.

You may want to try running in parallel, because all of those Eventide and Tc boxes convert your dry tone to digital and then back out to analog just by running through them. Although the newer converters have improved considerably, they still don't replicate the sound correctly. Why spoil the tone of a $3700 amp with a $150-$300 dollar box?

Hard bypass is direct connect relay bypass - ZERO active circuitry involved. As for spoiling tone, the Eventides are about the only pedals I know of that don't screw with my tone, whether in DSP Bypass or Relay hard bypass, they're perfect. And hey, if you can get an Eventide for $150 to $300, buy it for me would ya?? :D

They're big buck stomps, I bought all three and that's almost the cost of a used 101B head or a decent Diezel :dunno: Worth EVERY cent.

All I run in my parallel is a TC Nova Verb. I would luv to have the Demeter reverb pedal but just a little out of reach right now

I really don't need effects with this amp, it is just so PURE and that damn nice.

Line out to a TC2290 and ART SLA 2 for sum wet.

Hear that...I have the Pitchfactor and Timefactor. When you throw in the MIDI capability, these things go above and beyond. Dropped over $800 on those two pedals, and I haven't felt once that the weren't worth it. GREAT value!

I think of the 3 Factor stomps available, the one I was most apprehensive about actually needing is the one I now would never let go of - the PitchFactor. This stomp to me is just awesome...!! It covers so much ground, not just wigged out esoteric pitch shifting, but man, it's got some beautiful modulation and delays to it as well - which I'm sure you've discovered ;) Ya, they're the cats pajamas for me - I love 'em, and the built in tuner is perfect for me, one less box for the board.

Peace,
V.

Oh yeah man, if I had to keep "only 1", it would undoubtedly be the Pitchfactor...the stereo digital delay alone is outstanding, and considering you can mix that with the 910/949/Pitch shift for ungodly chorus, you'd be set if in a pinch.
