I'm looking for used Diezel Herbert around EU/UK and I don't really know what price is considered as good for this amp. I saw on eBay UK that these amps go for something like 1250-1350 GBP (price of the last 4 sold amps). What is the average (good?) price for this amp with hardshell case? What is the good price for VH4?

For some reason, there have been a few herberts floating around ebay for £1400 or so.

I'd say if you find a VH4 or Herbert for £1500 or less, then you're doing well. £1250 is pretty low for an amp of this quality.

It (they?) had dead tubes in it so this might be a reason.

I picked up the green grille Herbert for £1250 a few weeks back, great amp, no problems at all with it and I've played it hard since I got it.

The cheap ones recently went so cheap cos they had potential issues or were local pickup only as was the case with mine.

IT WAS YOU?! :D

Well, I already bought Herbie and paid something about £1440 with shipping and harshell case. I hope it'll come in one piece...

Indeed it was, honestly I was shocked I got it for that price, I was convinced I would be bid up by the sellers "friend" or sniped at the last minute.

Still £1440 with a flightcase is a hell of a great deal regardless.
