Hell yea man,

I scored one from Shadowfax29 a few months ago. . . I'm absolutly in love. I tried some KT88's in it but determined they were to bass heavy and not very complex sounding. . . Tung Sol Russian 6550's biased @ about 75% dissapation did it for this amp. Tung Sol 12ax7 in v1 and JJ's in v2 v3 and fx loop tube... What year is yours? got any pics?

From my memory, the one I have seems to have a lot more gain...but the Cameron tone is the same.

Sounds like a beast. I'd love to try one one day just for shits and giggles. I figured there would be a lot more gain as my Jose has a a little more on tap, but I dont use that much.

its sloppy ! but you can get the idea pretty much .... i love it! I had to use my strat w/ hot rails for this clip, I wish i had my les paul but im waiting for a killswitch to come in from gibson...

I found that amp at the Fountain Valley Guitar Center. I could tell it was a Cameron mod just by looking at it and comparing it to all the other Cameron mods I've owned and watched Mark work on. When I got it, it was an old version of the Aldrich mod and wasn't sounding right. I took it over to Marks house and he updated the entire thing to the current Aldrich specs.

Here's the thing, unfortunately I don't remember what all it had because it has so much going on with it and I'm just a 6 knob Marshall sort of guy. Any more than that and I get confused. All I can say is that you have a Cameron that Mark worked on and voiced within a month of when the guy you got it from got it. We traded that Aldrich mod for a Mako Makoplex and I have to say that Makoplex was one of the most disappointing amps I've ever heard. Blech!
