Got a killer deal on Marketplace

So I returned the DSL100HR that I was bitching about last week. Just not for me.I was browsing marketplace looking for old Marshalls and Saw an ad with 1 picture and vague description. It said Marshall rack $1. Few pics and a couple messages later I Took a gamble and set out on the hour 3 hr round-trip drive.
I Came home with a mint Marshall jcm 800 2203x, Marshall 4x12 TV cab and 5 Zak Wylde pedals plus a DC brick and an MXR chorus pedal. Turns out The guy decided to learn guitar and bought it all new 10+ years ago. Played a few times and gave up and been sitting since. Pics are with all the dust but everything cleaned up great and looks like new now. Total price was $1500. I'm pretty pleased with the purchase.

With those pedals, he probably bought all the gear, figured out in 10 minutes how to do a pinch harmonic on the low E, unplugged the guitar, shut down the amp, unplugged power to the pedals, put the guitar in it’s case and said….My job here is done.

My friend and I were talking about this yesterday. Both felt $1500 was the max we would pay.

Glad someone from RT snagged it. 👍
 
Wow insane deal! That cab has UK greenbacks no? Just the amp is worth 1500 or more...

Yea it has the greenbacks. Used prices on the cab are $1000+. Your right the head alone is worth 1500. The Wylde Rotovibe alone s like 3-400.
 
Man, heckuva haul!!! Big congrats!!!

Then I noticed the TV cab? WOW!!! They wanted an absolute fortune for those when I was a Marshall guy in the 90's and early 2000's.
 
That yellow MXR chorus pedal is awesome, I love mine. Huge headroom, super low noise level (barely any hiss), perfect in front of a distorting amp... Instant Miracle Man !!

Yea Dude was definitely a Zakk fan, He had a bullseye Les Paul sitting there. I should have asked if it was for sale but didn't even think of it.

Text/email/phone call would probably fix that right up. You could flip what you didn't want and basically have a nice haul of "free" gear after you were done.
 
Cowabunga ! Nothing vetured nothing gained id say you gained quite a bit.
I would have made that drive.
