This was the previously mentioned NOS (2007) that I was the soon-to-be-new-owner of... Got 'er today, mint shape, tubes are sounding brilliant (I have a soft spot, or is that a hard spot, for EL34's). Low noise, easy to use, straight forward and f*ckin BALLSY!! This amp RIPS!!! Can't wait to really give 'er a go... Currently deciding on either a 2x12 OS cab for the studio, or just running it through a RL 4x12 G12H30 Diezel (as seen in picture). Need the space, so not sure - BUT - what I am sure about is this is a beautiful amp...perfect in all ways possible.

Thanks Reinhold!!

congrats. I love my Uber as well. Not too sure why they get bagged on from time to time. From the first time I played one I knew I wanted one.

congrats and welcome to the family. really mess with the pres and mid controls thats where the real tone shaping is at with the Ubers

Thanks Rob and everyone else!!

I can tell just from the short while I played with the Uber that the EQ controls have a great deal of action and span on them. The presence and middle, and the bass - whoa the bass - are awesome. VERY simple to use amp, but it's very obvious to me there's a lot more than meets the eye! It's such a perfectly rounded amp. I'm looking forward to checking into the crunch and dirty landscape as well... Put it this way, until my new cabinet arrives, it didn't hurt me to see the brand new VH4S be placed "on the floor" for a while...ahem.

Awesome. Now it's a matter of getting as much play time in as possible

Yeah, I am really finding that out with my Rev.2 with Kt88's. Killer mean sounding amp. Tons of gain and the low end is thumping!

Congrats on the new uber, and what rob said is true.

So far, the thing that has me just goin' WOW is the thick, powerful, consistent, and in-yer-face low end... When in crunch or gain mode, it's like steady thunder - it doesn't let up. I love it.

Wicked!

Yeah, the pres & mids are key. The mids are about the only thing I find I need to touch when switching rooms/venues to get my tone straight. Unless of course I end up in an overly bassy room, but yeah the mids & pres is where it's at.

Hey,
How do you like the Uber Rev bleu compare to the Diezel Vh4?

I would love to try these someday. I'm only familiar with the first version.

Congrats!!!

Um, this was a mega necro post

I've since gone with TwinJets, man, when I had this original Uberschall it was 2009 or something like that. I've since had a brand new TJ which I stupidly sold, and then was graced with a fellow RT member offering his TJ Purple Mod which I've since bought and will simply never sell. I like the TJs over the original Ubers, just personal preference.

How does it compare to the VH4? It doesn't. In my case - I have to own both :D

Haha, didn't read the original post. I figured you had to have both.

Actually, highly likely now that you mention it

They are addictive, aren't they? The longer I have mine, the more I realize the differences between them.

 I have never tried the Uber Rev blue! how do you like it compare to the VH4?

The VH4 or D Moll...

I have no crystal ball, but I see one of them in my future..
