Got some time with the KSR Ceres...

Working on a full vid of this but found a pic of Brendon Smalls settings (Dethklok/Galactikon) and dialed them in, then this riff popped in my head. Using the preamp in the Return of my Quilter OD200 and even through that it sounds pretty bad ass. I got to play it a bit at NAMM last year and really dug it then. Surprised how good the Clean sounds for only having a tone control (no cleans here).

Thanks man! I figured I'd use my "least likely to metal" amp to power it, so if it sounds good there, it'll sound killer through anything. It's a pretty dame. robust pedal pre.

I use mine with a Fryette PS-2. I tend to use it as much as I do my Orthos. I just put a deposit on the KSR power amp. I really hate Kyle sometimes(or at least my wallet does)

Oh man I bet that’s killer! Kyle posted some clips on the FB group of the Ceres and the new power amp and it’s bad ass.

No! I will update it on the full demo vid. I just needed a pic of the Ceres to show the pedal.

These are the settings I used. Brendon posted this on his Insta right before Keyl sent me the pedal to check out.

Dialed them in to match and man I haven't felt the need to touch them. I used both dirt channel. Rhythm on the L/R tracks and Lead on the Center and Solo. Helix Native for the Detune and Delay on the solo as well. Kyle said to start with everything at Noon and that actually sounds very good. My Gemini is the same way.

Yeah I wasnt sold on the form factor of it but it grew on me. Also since he build this with the Ceres in mind Im sure it will sound amazing together.

I hope Kyle puts like a Zero Loss FX loop in that 50w power amp. That would be ideal!
