Believe it or not, those necks are pretty awesome. I have an Old Baretta II that has a Maple neck and the thing plays amazingly well. I can literally dump the action onto the frets with zero buzz.
 
Man....now who would buy such a loud looking guitar like that :confused:
 
Dweezil Zappa used to have a Green Superstrat with maple board back in the day, always liked that color :)

Charvel had a limited production of that same color, Yabba over at HCAF had one.

For the record if I spotted that guitar local for a good price I would get it and just visit the local body shop.
 
I have a flip-flop pink Kramer Pacer Imperial (USA made), from the late 80's! It now has a ESP Lynch neck that I bought from ESP back around 1990.

Man...these colors always bring me back....chicks with short skirts an inch from heaven, singers that didn't sound like they were farting out there throat when they sang, and dudes that worked hard in the woodshed to master the guitar.....good times good times.

Don't fear the neon's - I've got three of the orange Ibanez's, two of the yellow sabers, and a green bc rich STIII. Neon colors rule! :rock:
 
Part of me wants that green Kramer.

It may be my gooch. It's compelling nonetheless.
