I think I may have a ground loop issue but I can't seem to find the source. Here's the setup:
Guitar > Pedalboard > Friedman SS100 > Cabinet
Line out of Friedman > Recording Interface that is AC Powered > Logic
There is a loud constant hum at on the Line Out signal that is coming into Logic. The signal through headed to the 4x12 cabinet sounds normal. I've tried this with the SS100 and the Smallbox and it happens with both amps. I've also tried it with the Balanced XLR out on a Marshall JVM and the ground noise does not occur. There is no unusual ground noise with the amp if I'm not using the Line Out feature.
The tone of the Friedman with speaker sims sounds absolutely incredible, but there is that constant loud ground noise there. Any ideas what I should look for? Thanks!
