Exactly he just added a negative feedback. Thats it. No other changes. Made a world of differnence in this amp though

The Herbert responded to the NFB even better than the VH4, in my opinion. Which is hard to believe.

This Herbert sounded so good in the room after the mod. Probably my favorite Diezel so far.

250k Audio Taper pot into the feedback path from the board to the 8om tap.

This is exactly what I did to the Herbert in the clip.

To be clear, you added the pot to be in line the feedback path? So, effectively, as you turn the pot on, you are removing feedback?

Yep, adding the pot allows you to reduce the negative feedback which opens the amp up.
