I have been using this top of the line   guitar work station for years, thought I would pass on the suggestion, :D there adjustable height, padded and you can put a small pillow or folded towel to raise your neck, perfect for changing strings, and doing other work on your guitar and everyone probably already has one, an ironing board, if not there Under $20.00, although I would never take one to a gig

great idea. whatever works for you. mine is a piece of quarter inch plywood about 14x14 that i had laying around. i used some elmers and glued a piece of duvotene to it. my neck block is a chunk of foam from a pelican. cost? whatever it was i spent on the elmers.

I have found mine doubles as a clothes ironing board whoda thunk

you know something that's funny is that I do that as well, but didn't want to say it on here because I didn't want you guys to make fun of me!

That's just as smart as my lazy susan rack idea   (That one cost me about 10 bucks)

When I had a rack, it was in a very closed area and I couldn't reach its back easily to make changes (different order of effects and such) so I put a doublestick lazy susan under it and it was able to turn 360 without touching anything and I could easily make changes without trying to get to it's back side.

why pay for expensive equipment when you can adapt other stuff to your needs

Thats awesome, aint nothing wrong with using that to iron out any issues
