Happy Holidays and Happy New Year, guys! We've got a lot of things brewing for NAMM and post-NAMM activities and one of them will be another mini-tour in the US while Guthrie happens to be in the States. The demand from dealers, schools, fans and customers to see him live is really skyrocketing and we are obliged to meet that demand where and when we can.

So, here's the schedule of what we've got planned during and after NAMM.

Jan 16 Sat, 8PM - Clinic and concert at Tone Merchants featuring special guest Andy Wood, Joel Taylor on drums (Holdsworth), and Mike Pope on bass (Corea, Gambale, DiMeola). Please contact Tone Merchants for tickets:

Jan 19 Tue, 7PM - Clinic and concert at GIT in Hollywood, CA featuring same lineup above. This show will only be available to GIT students and the main performance hall is expected to be packed for this event.

Jan 22 Fri, 7PM - Suhr clinic sponsored by dealer Nuts & Saddles in San Francisco, CA. Here are the details of this clinic in downtown SF.

Jan 23 Sat - Guthrie Master Class, clinic and jam concert sponsored by the Bradley School of Music in Concord, CA near SF. Contact Bradley School of Music for more info:

Jan 26 Tue, 7PM - Suhr clinic sponsored by dealer Guitars, Etc. in Longmont, Colorado near Denver. Contact Guitars, Etc. for more info:

And then, off to Boston for a 3-day visit with events and shows sponsored by Berklee College of Music, Middle East Club, and Matt's Music featuring Guthrie with the Jon Finn Group. Special thanks to Berklee alumni Ryan McBride of McBride Sound Design for helping to organize these events.

Jan 28 Thu, 1PM - Berklee Performance Center master class at 1pm. This event will be open to the public this time, so non-Berklee students are all welcome.

Jan 29 Fri, 8PM - Guthrie will be playing at the Middle East Downstairs 480 Mass Ave in Cambridge at 8pm with the Jon Finn Group. Tix are available on ticketmaster.com right now, $18 in advance or $20 at the door. This is an 18+ show!

Jan 30 Sat, 7PM - Berklee Cafe 939 event to be announced. This may be a Berklee-only event so please plan on the other 2 events if you're a non-Berklee student. Will also feature product clinic in conjunction with Matt's Music.

Hey Mark,

Got back from a 2.5-week clinic tour of Europe with Guthrie on Dec 22 and am just recuperating now during the Holidays. Was exhausted near the end (new airports and hotels every other day gets old fast!) and dealing with blizzards and 20 degree weather during the last week of the tour wasn't easy, but it was all good and loved visiting the different European countries and spending time with the local dealers and fans.

The Guthrie Sat night clinic and show will be special. We'll start off with a clinic with Guthrie demonstrating his Signature Model and other Suhr guitars as well as the new pedals. It's really a treat to see Guthrie just noodle away on different guitars and watch him all kinds of sounds and play every imaginable musical style on them. Should be a great night!
