I like the idea of having an expresion pedal in the Yamaha....but I don't know if this are good units, or if they're phantom powered like the Nobels

what do you think?

Joey - save some real estate on your pedal board. Try one of these from Tech 21.....

Thanks Steve, it does look "clean" but is it practical to have to step on it twice for example to get from ch.1 to ch. 3? you know what I mean?

plus in the future I'd really like to make my whole rig Midi switchable and that requires buttons ready to be stepped for:

4 Einstein tones (3 modes and ch.2),
2 Master volumes
3 Duesentrieb Little Joe Tones
and 4 Vh4 channels PLUS the inserts, loop, mute

So it's a good thing to have 10 buttons ready to be stepped on right?

looks good, but honestly for that price I'd get a Columbus.

I don't wanna/cannot spend 300 Euros on a controller right now, otherwise I'd stepping on a Columbus :D

It's either the Nobels which Olaf has recommended me lots of times, or the Yamaha (I like the Expression pedal included, for volume)

+1 on the tech 21 - i have a midi moose ( the big brother of the one pictured ) and its great .

I've got a Columbus too. Takes up too much room though. However, depending on the gigging requirements, I bust it out every once in a while if I feel I will be in a channel changing mode. The blue light is blinding on it!

Axess Electronics makes good stuff and a pedal similar to the T21. But, it takes forever to get anything delivered from Mario.

The Behringer FCB 1010 is great, too. 10 preset buttons plus 2 expression pedals PLUS 2 switching outputs. And it's cheap and reliable.

I'm controlling everything with it: switching channels on my Baldringer Dual Drive via the switching jacks, controlling two fx loops via MIDI on my Lehle D.Loop, switching presets on my Rocktron Intellifex unit and finally controlling some parameters of the Intellifex with one of the two expression pedals.

IMHO, nothing beats the FCB 1010 for versatility and pricing. As long as any Behringer unit isn't part of my signal chain, I'm fine with using them.
It's rather big though.
