Hagen has a bit of a "looser" feel.
If that's good for you, then sweet.
Both are AMAZING amps and I have both.
Hagen = 4 channels and individual controls
Herbert = 3 channels with mid-cut (very cool option)
Both have great cleans, IMO, and excellent gain channels. As with ANY amp, you will dial it in the way YOU like it.
IME, the mid-cut option makes Herbert "more metal," but that said I LOVE channel 2's tones for anything bluesy and crunchy.
Hagen has 4 channels and each picks up where the last leaves off. As you can imagine channel 4 breathes fire
In the end, both are sweet amps. Best thing to do is try them out and listen with YOUR ears.
