Happy Birthday Eric!!

Gotta love the "pink taco!" :) I think nick likes his "mangina" too much and needs some "Eg to fill it." Better look elsewhere buddy. I'm not gonna "fill that mangina" of yours ;)

Eric

So good so far. It's taken some time to get it setup. I'm anal when it comes to setting a guitar up. I don't do standard E much, so I've had to set it up for my lower tunings. It came from the factory setup awesome in E. But I normally play in D# or C, so I've been futzing with the action, the truss rod to add a bit of relief with having less tension on the neck. And I've changed the spring setup too to be more to my liking.

I've gotten spoiled having a luthier setup my guitars to my personal specs! But, I've learned enough how to do it myself, and bought some of the tools from stew mac to be able to do it.

So far, I really dig the tones. Love the pickups for sure. The SSH+ is a killer pickup in the bridge. definitely has a different vibe vs my Rebel Yell or Afwayus. But I really dig it. The neck feels like a friggin bat. It's a great peice of maple! (and no i don't mean feels like a bat in terms of thickness....just a really quality neck that is very strong) I do love that soft touch finish. It's taken some time to get used to it, but I see this guitar being one of my favorites for sure. Love the 5 way switching system they use. You can really get a diverse set of tones!

Ya, I got used to playing in E on the suhr but I need to do the spring thing but much easier on the vintage trem than a FR.I really didn't not like the SSH at all,the singles were better but the 2 Degree in the bridge just destroys, very versatile, takes to the EG5 like stink on shit :D Enjoy the fest Bro,sounds like a killer time, thos guys seem like a good time!!!

The SSH+ is similar to the Aldrich...just a little bit less gain...so you'd probably like it better than the SSH. I really like the SSV in the neck though!
