Has anyone heard of the band Evergrey from Sweden?

I recently sold my Peavey Classic 50/50 power amp to a guy tone chasing this band's amps earlier albums from 1998. I guess they used a Mesa Triaxis into the Peavey 50/50 El84 power amps. So I checked them out and thought the tunes were pretty cool and kinda reminded me of Nevermore but a bit more prog metal like Dream Theater......

Been one of my favorite bands for years, got a chance to see them in a small club in Baltimore back in 2019 I believe and they were amazing live, shame there weren't more people there to support, probably less then 100 people there would be my guess. Got to meet them all after the show, very cool experience.

Been a fan of Evergrey for a while now. I had a 50/50 and still have a 60/60, but I never had a TriAxis. Also, I can't play like them lol

I had not heard of them but the singer is way better than Dream Theaters singer and the tunes are good.:2thumbsup: Funny how certain bands go unnoticed when they are outside of you usual circle of music......

It's odd because for me that's like someone saying "Wow have you heard of Whitesnake!? They're this band, they're really good!"

But that's because Evergrey is my circle of music, and Whitesnake is not

Either way, glad to have you on board, evergrey has some stone cold JAMS

Recreation Day, Different Worlds (best ballad/soft song in metal) the Great Deciever, Blackened Dawn, Misled, More than ever

they are one of the best power/prog bands still going from the heyday in the 90s

Another thumbs up here for Evergrey. Glad you love them and are spreading the word!!
I always get them mixed up with Elvenking, not because the music is the same, just the name having Ev in there I guess...but check out Elvenking too, more folk metal but catchy.
