This is an OCD variant with some very cool features including LED clipping ...

It is a clone of sorts .... but one that can closely mimic all the different revisions .... there are 2 sets of 3 pos DIP switches inside that let you configure this circuit to closely represent the different revisions that were released .... you can mix and match the GE diodes in with the transistor clipping also .. or go full LED

simply a Swiss Army Knife of a OCD clone ....

I'm now using Vishay Film Caps for all my builds ( for the values I can cover with them ) they just keep impressing me with every circuit I use them in .....

You could order one with what ever color Knob / LED footswitch you'd like ..... LED FS come in red , blue , green and purple ... the aluminum Davies knobs don't have purple .... but I can do plastic davies in purple

Dude, I thought I was well past the point of fucking with pedals anymore, but you are seriously making me want one of your pedals.

One of these days I need to think up my dream bass pedal and plead with you to build it for me.

what do you want ?? what are you interested in ??? I wouldn't mind having a few Bass pedals in the line up ....

you want OD's ...??? Compressors .. ?? Gnarly Fuzzes ..?? Doom type Fuzz'es ??

I've got a real special edition Mutron III clone coming ... if the enclosure ever gets here .... also have a really cool auto-wah coming ...

The last pedal I bought was a Team Awesome Fuzz Machine w/gate mod. It was okay. A lot of usable tones. I was in a 3 piece hard rock/alternative cover band so I needed to cover a lot of ground usually inhabited by a guitar. My biggest issue with that pedal is that it never really sat that well in a mix. I solved that by mic'ing my cab, usually with a 421 and running a DI as well and blending the signal, but it was still problematic because I usually mixed from the stage and to do that really effectively you need someone else on the board. The problem with that is almost everyone complained that we sounded better when I mixed. So I basically quit using pedals altogether and relied on the SVT 2 non pro which is really good dynamically. When I wanted dirt I just plucked harder. Of course the dirt is tame compared to a brutal ass fuzz so that didn't work too well on stuff like Chevelle or Deftones.

Anyway, not long after that my drummer got caught banging a whore and his wife made him quit. I got sick of trying out drummers that couldn't learn the material in a timely manner and said fuck it. These days I just fuck around at home for my own enjoyment. But a pedal that I could either blend a fuzzed out signal with the clean signal or one that only distorted the high frequencies would be cool. Something I could control myself from the pedal itself.
 
I was going to say which one is it based on..... the DIP switches allowing for different iterations is brilliant!!!!
