Just got this in today from Dave for my MOD100...Channel A = Brown Eye, Channel B = Hairy Brown Eye...hands down the best module I have played to date!

Mine is a converted MHG. Dave has got some serious magic going on with these mods! I will try to do some clips this weekend as well...

Dude...I'm even more jealous... I want my mods now damnit!! It's been a month or so without high gain modules...I've got SERIOUS withdrawals going. My Mod50 and M4 are my only amps now. Only modules I have right now in my possession are BMAN, COD, VX, and SL. And none of them are cutting it at the moment :)

I really can't believe how good this thing sounds.....very clear gain with TONS of sustain. Brown Eye reminds of Saraceno and Steve Stevens last record....Hairy = early EVH...... :rock:

If you own a MOD series...send Dave one of your modules for this mod right now :yes:

+10000 on that! I am up to 6 Friedman mods. But that Hairy Brown Eye mod is in a Class all to itself!!
 
Yes, my thoughts exactly. What module do I have to send him? I have a SL and an SL2 that I would mind having tweaked a little..
 
I have a SL2 that I like it very much. However, I was wondering, how much "better" and different HBE is to the stock SL2?

Better is a very subjective word,I have a modded SL2 and a stock SL2 and I like them both,The HBE mod is a little tighter in the lows and has more mean to it ,great definition!!!Great mod.

I sent Dave my MHG to be modded to a HBE. I believe that he can use the boards for EG5, SL2, SL, MHG for this mod. He also has different mods for Erect, EG5, Vox, etc. Best to just check with him.

By the way, I just A/B'd my SL2 against the HBE for about an hour or so this morning....the SL2 does sound really good, but to my ear the HBE is in a different league....it's much more defined, tons of sustain, and the EQ is perfect for my taste....I'm very happy with it...just can't get over the tone :rock:
