I recently had my modeler rig go down and picked up a hd300 on clearance at GC.
Made some quick patches. I'm pretty goddamn impressed.

I layered a rectifier patch and the /13 for the rhythm and stacked on the slo100 for lead.
The bass used the fliptop model. Drums provided by garageband+keyboard mashing.

I didn't take the time to really fuck with the recording so use headphones for the best sound.

Thanks man! I posted up more clips on that same soundcloud. Any electric guitars you hear are all hd300. "div 13" is more of a pop rock sort of deal and the rest are mostly mastodon-ish metal stuff. Listen with headphones, because that's the only reference I have and I'm not liable for how horrible it sounds on speakers haha.

If you are looking to use it live , I cannot recommend it enough. I've played all of the amps my patches are modeled after and I get a better live sound with the HD into FOH then I ever got mic'ing the actual amps. I tote the HD, a clean power supply, and a wireless mounted to a pedal board, put my qsc wedge on a roller cart, and my rig has never been as portable as it is now. At a 10th of the cost of the real deal, it's going to be real hard for me to transition back into a traditional back line.
