I will get my ENGL XXL cab tomorrow. Quad chinese v30 in that cab. I don't like all v30 cabs. So, think I am gonna ditch two and install other speakers. I have v30mf/k100, v30mf/redback, v30/t75, Fane f70, 12g vintage loaded cabs right now. So, I wanna try other speakers. I am thinking of Celestion h75/v30 x patteren, m65 top/v30 bottom or Eminence dv77(I heard they are prerty cool, but haven't tried other Eminence stuff)/v30 x pattern. Please recommend me good speakers with v30 except Celestion RB, k100 and t75.

i personally love scumback speakers so would recommend you check those out!

Jim (owner) posts on here some i think, and he's an awesome dude who is worth talking to via email.

he's a straight up dude who won't just sell you something because, if he has something that'll work for the sound you're after, he'll tell you.

Please do yourself a favor and get some Avatar speakers. I have tried several and they are awesome. I'd personally recommend the AV75s. Lots of top, mids, and bass all rolled into one. Crazy punch and tightness too. Very versatile. The Fane M65 is a killer speaker as well. Good luck!

Love the greyhound. Very balanced voicing which I like!
I built a vertical 2x12 (Mojotone cabinet) with a Greyhound and BV-30V. I love it so far (it's been about a year). Mojotone seems to have great customer service, you can call them up or email them and they'll help you figure things out.

Greyhound and BV-30v would be a good combo from the clips!

MI megalith beta, ENGL SE, Fryette D120 ii and Larry is coming soon
Since you have the Engl, I have two recommendations for you.

1) Take out two of your V30's, and put M75's in instead. M's on top, V30's on the bottom.

2) Or you could do what Tommy Thayer of KISS did, and get all BM75 65w speakers. He has 12 of them.

The best thing would be to fill out my recommendation form, and I can dial it in based on what your whole rig/style/volume/etc is.
