Hi guys...
First of all, excuse my ignorance, I'm new with the Columbus (and my very first midi equipment), so I'm a newby...
I have a Herbert, and a Columbus... ok...
I bought an standard audio cable with XLR male-female jacks...
I tried to program it like I have read (first, I push a columbus bottom, for example 01... then.. assign the channel I want to be there... for example, channel 3 + mid cut, then doble click on STORE...), I do this and nothing... U press bottom 02, and back to 01, and nothing there... ??
What is the problem ??? Should I use a MIDI CABLE instead of the suatio XLR ??? should that midi cable has the XLR jacks ??? or should I simply use midi cables in the midi out of the columbus to the midi in of the herbert to programm it ¿??
I really dont know if I'm doing something wrong... or if it's the cables... or if it's me that I'm stupid (that could be also possible even with the wrong cables )...
Well, no more, any help you can give me would be really appreciated ...
Ben.
