help! Vendetta problems!

hey guys
Jeff, if you want me to just send you a mail about this, just let me know.
I figured I should first post it here though.
My Vendetta is doing strange things.
I get like no gain, output is way less, and it does weird noises when I switch it to standby (LOUD pops and occasionally this weird UFO sound). Quite scary. Is it just tubes? Or am I in serious trouble? I haven't "treated" the amp wrong, except that it was in a moderately warm car for about 5 hours... but that couldn't have done it?

all the preamp tubes check out fine.... tried'em in another amp one by one....


here are my power tube test point readings:
1: .26 mA
2: .355 mA
3: .35 mA
4: .32 mA

it sounds really ugly.... and like there's a gain stage missing somewhere... anemic too... any ideas?

Just started happening all the sudden? Our first would be to put all new tubes in it. After that we need more in depth technical questions to be answered.

ok... I'll get a full batch of replacement tubes.
Heck, now I know why I never intended on getting a 100W head...
cost so friggin much to retube.
I'll get back to you once I have that done.
