Help...White vs. Blue VH4

About to pull the trigger on a VH4--but I still have some nagging questions I need resolved! I've been searching relentlessly to figure out what the difference(s) are, specifically, between the White- and Blue-faced VH4's. Anybody help with some insight? :doh:
 
The amps are the same, chose whatever you like the most based on looks...

I'm just curious as to what all the hype surrounding the blue face vh4's? Kind of gave the impression that something was a bit different between the two.
 
Blue face is the original 6L6 loaded and originally voiced VH4. It's the 1st batter up.

Since then, there's been a silver face and a white-silver face (if ya wanna call it that). Of these, if I recall correctly, there've been 3 revisions to its inner voicings. The hottest being from 2007 onwards.

MARK2C and Peter I and Peter II may have words on this - if so, they'll clarify a bit more/further. But this is what I know. If I were in your shoes, but a new one, forget the blueface, and just give 'er.

I think once you play one, you'll be happy just to own one no matter the color. (But go blue if you can snag one, just because they're a limited run and more unique.)
 
The new limited bluefaces are identical to the 2011 silverfaces on the inside. They are a limited run of 25 and a collector's edition. It's a nod to the origins of the amp. They are loaded with EL34BHT's just like the silvers will be.

The 2011 vh4 is changed a little from the 2007-2010 vh4's confirmed via email from Papa.
 
There's only 25 of them, that's why. Plus, whatever is left from the originals. Its a little bit more than aesthetic, but the amp itself is the same.

EL 34s in the new 2011. I still have a couple limited blue face VH4's available if thats what you would like. White or Black your choice. Turn around time is running about 3-4 weeks from when you place your order. Let me know if I can help.

Nice! Thanks for all the insights guys! Thats probably why information on the difference was hard to find...cause their isn't one obviously, heh.

Now just gotta decided whether I like the blue or silver better! :doh:
