I have the FX1 and using it with my Diezel Herbert. A few weeks ago, I had the FX1 doing the channel switching on my amp, but now I have lost the pedalboads midi commands. Does anyone here have the FX1, or can someone here help with what commands go in which box on the FX1 to make the amp switch again. Herbert is set now on midi channel #3

Thanks for anyone who can help me with this.

Hello Larry,

first set the Herbert to omni mode.

We have a manual on our website.

Peter, Thanks for your quick reply, You are top notch in my book, my HERBERT has been kicking so much A@@. I am not specifically looking to control my amp with the amp in the omni mode, because I am running a midi rack with Eventide Eclipse, TC2290, Roland SDE2500, Rocktron Intellifex, GRX4 all set to different channel numbers, so midi messages with the amp in Omni mode would respond by the amp switching to every midi command. I have my Herbert set to channel #3, so amp will only switch if I send a command for channel #3.

The trouble I am having is making the FX1 do the program changes thru midi commands. Mario Marino helped me get the FX1 switching the amp about a month ago, but I accidently re programmed the FX1 by sending all data from FX1s Mac editor to the pedalboard before I did a backup, so it over wrote those programs, and now Mario is not availavble for a while, so I am trying to find out if anyone here uses the FX1 with their amp.

There is no problem with the amp whatsoever, It has been the best musical purchase I have ever made. Midi makes this amp so frigging versatile, with many tones on tap, more than any other amp I am aware of. You can have all 3 channels with master 1 volume, THATS 3 great tones there, then you can add three more channels with the 2nd master volume, Thats 6 great tones all switchable at your feet(PS I really love the 2nd channel with the 2nd master volume, very sweet, Then you can add mid cut to all three channels, both master 1 volume and the master 2 volume. Im not sure how many possibilites that is, but its alot. The most versatile head I have ever used.

You are a genius, and Thanks for your love and devotion to your products, they all shine and are head and shoulders above the competition.
