What's goin' on Gentlemen and Lady (Laura)?
These Damn stompbox delay pedals Frustrate
the Hell out of me!! Any Flashback experts in the house?
I can't seem to find a liquid, creamy, sort of Petrucci, Vai,
Satriani type of delay for lead playing.

Should I run the pedal out in front of the amp?
Should I run it in the FX loop? What are the Ideal
settings for this type of delay that I'm looking for?
Do I mess with the 2 Kill dry switches on the inside,
Do I run it on 2290, Tape, ping pong, in the loop,
Out front, kill dry switches up, down, left up, right down,
vice versa etc.....what position all 4 knobs should be in...
I would appreciate an Idiot run through
from someone experienced, 'cause I'm a delay Idiot!

Please don't post that Tor guy video, he aggrivates me.

If you're using gain from your amp try it in the effects loop. A delay pedal sounds a LOT different depending on where you use it. When you use it in the loop the delay's will sound more in the background and will compliment your leads well. Into the input the delay can sound like a big mess with gain but for certain things, it works cool such as when you play staccato notes or for swells.

I prefer it in the loop...running the "Tape" setting, level around 10 o'clock, delay around 10 o'clock, and feedback set to 0....nice sustaining lead tone.

 Thank you Gentlemen, very much!!
Running it in the FX Loop was the key to
what I was searching for. I love the lead tone
I'm gettin' with a smooth delay on from the Flashback!
My favorite is the tape echo then the 2290, nice creamy
sustaining lead tone.
I absolutely hate the pedal out in front of the
amp with distortion/gain, not too bad on the clean
channel. In the FX loop is where it's at for me,
thanks again Gentlemen!!
