Well i just bought a brand new herbert...and am glad to say it sounds even better than what i had hoped. Im running it through a boogie 412 now and it sounds great...but im thinking of getting rid of it and getting 2 orange 412's (nothing against the diezel cabs, im sure theyre great...but i just dont have that much money right now). I would like to get a standard vintage 30 cab and a hp cab with g12k100's and run them together....but the v30 is 16 ohm and the hp is 8 ohm. Ive researched this a little and some people say it shouldnt be a problem, some say dont do it, others say get a load box. Have any of you guys ran your diezel like this?

It´s 5,3 ohm, so run it with the both 4 ohm speaker jacks.
The 8 ohm cabinet will be louder.

The 8 Ohm cab will get two thirds of the whole power the amp puts out. It will be noticeable louder, but not really overpowering.
