After gassing and all the Diezel hype i bought a Herbert 3 years ago.
I played a Engl SE e670 back then. I always found myself turning knobs, pusging buttons but never being satisfied with my sound.
Hearing clips and demos on the net helpt me to decide i wanted a Herbert. There wasnt a shop near that had Diezels in stock. I thought why not and just go for it.
Within a view months i sold the Engl. The herbert gave me everything i needed for my sound. No buttons, no eq fiddeling around etc.
Channel 1: the best clean channel i played. Warm, full and rich.
Channel 2: massive rythem and lead tone
channel 3: amazing lead channel. In combination with the mid cut it was perfect
All channels: great articulation!
I just picked up playing guitar after 6 months or so, due to work and moving i didnt have the time to play anymore.
Now i started playing again and damn, this is my amp. Just plug and play. I do have a mxr carbon copy in the loop for a little delay but thats it!
Im still so happy with the amp.
I moved to an appartment. Im not used to having neighbers. I thought i wouldnt be able to play the amp, but it delivers, even at low volumes.
At night when its not posible, i use two-notes WOS and play the amp at whispering volumes.
I just wanted you guys and Peter to know that im still enjoying the amp, even after 3 years i still enjoy it like i did the first time i played it. I see alot of gear going around now a days but im happy to have found my amp.
Who knows, maybe ill get the chance again playing the amp out doors, but for now ill keep on rockin at home and doing some studio work.
Enjoy what you have
