I have always loved the W/D/W for its massive tone and the separation of the wet from the dry signal to not degrade the dry tone. However using the H3000 tonight and the parallel loop I was very happy with the mix and tone, how thick it was and how great it sounded. I now no longer need any of my boost pedals, W/D configuration stuff or my line mixer. The Herbert may be expensive but I may come out of this with money in my pocket when this is all done....
If I used the switchable loop with the parallel loop does this actually take the loops totally out of the circuit when off as opposed to always in the circuit just using the parallel loop? Just curious how this actually works?
