Sad news, my Herbert is blowing the main fuse and the T2 fuse inside the amp. I changed the fuses with the same exact fuses. Then I changed the pre amp tubes and the power tubes and biased each set to the diezel website 65ma per set. Now it has a loud humming noise when you turn the amp off standby. All the tubes are glowing normally and I check the bias again and everything is right at 65ma. I don't know what the problem is. Guessing I would think its a Transformer cause it has that 60 cycle humming. On Standby with the volume down its a high pitch whining noise.

So now here is the problem. I read the warranty info on the Diezel site and since I'm not the original owner the warranty is void.

The amp is a 2008 model like brand new not even a year and a half old depending on what month it was made in. :aww:

Please HELP!!!

Please search for a skilled tech and I will

Hey Papa Diezel, thanks for the quick reply.

What tech do you suggest? Diezel USA or a local tech here in North Carolina?

Papa Diezel can you tell me what you think is wrong with my Herby?

Just wanted to update this thread. The Herbert blowed a cap. Had it replaced at Mad Science Works with exact Ruby 22 500v and replaced all the power tubes also.

:inlove: Herberts back running and sounding better than ever. :inlove:

Thanks again Papa Diezel for the support!!!!
