Hi, i`ve owned a herbert since 2004 (second hand) and it "died" about a month ago  I`ve had an tech to look at it, and it turns out its a blown capacitor. Is this common? And what may cause the capacitor to break?

I would like to know which capacitor it is ?
There are a lot inside.

Ok, i`ll let you know when i`ve talked to the repairshop! Thanks

So finally i got my herbie back

According to the tech, they changed 5 capacitors in the "power supply section". I dont really know what they are called  , but this is what is written on them; 3x "Ruby Gold cap, 22uF500V, V-22500" and 2x "YAGEO 15000uF, 6.3v"

They are replaced with; 3X "22uF 500V" and 2x "22000uF 16V"

It`s nice to finally get some sound out of it

Please don´t take me wrong, but 5 broken caps ?????

I´m sure it was maybe one 22µ/500v cap.
