Herbert Compensated Out

Hi Folks,

i got a Herbert 2009 and i want to record with the comp. out? Is there any chance to do this silent?
Currently the Herbie is hooked up on a 2x12 and the Direct Out is connected to a Line 6 Toneport... but the signal is so weak that I dont hear anything.
Do i have to turn the Mastervolume up?
