Let me know when you are tired of me so I stop posting shit :D

It sounds like you've got a noise gate turned up too high somewhere. Otherwise, sounds pretty good. A little small, but probably as good as it can with an isocab.

I think it could be more mixing/mastering issue. Please, give this one a listen, let me know what you think.

BTW, I never use gate for guitars :dunno:

Thanks for all the help fellas!

It's good for what it is, but I don't really think you're going to do a distorted guitar tuned to A# justice through an iso cab. Clean sounds great though.

Here be a tip: Tune to Standard......crank it........during a live venue........:D

Yea, obviously I'd love to have a great sounding live room & add my Royer several FT away to capture the "Holy Shit" effect & an MD421 on the 75 to make it wider, but alas :aww:

I need to finally get one of those MD421s, ahhr!!! Just looking for an older model for a good price.

Thanks :2thumbsup:

I can't recall, but did you try the Senn e906?
It is a great mic for cabs, 3 filter switches (basically hi/lo pass and neutral, lo pass IMNHO get's you to MD421, but better definition - again IMNHO :) ).
