I just purchased a brand new a Herbert and a rear-loaded 4x12 Diezel cabinet.

Question: With the purchase of a Herbert, is a footswitch part of the deal? I did not receive one.

No. You have to buy a separate MIDI controller - such as a Diezel Columbus, Ground Control Pro, Rocktron Midimate, etc.

They are hell to find, as only a few dealers (like me) stock them. It was hell getting one in too! I got a few amps, sold them, the controller lagged behind, as it is the only diezel product in house right now hehe
But to answer your question, no a controller doesn't come w/ the amp. The only one that comes w/ a pedal is the einstein, another wonderful piece of equipment!
