herbert - ground loop

Hi,

I am currently playing my Herbert in my bedroom and I am experiencing a grounding problem. When I play the amp
I hear a constant beep. When I tough my input jack, the beep is gone. Even when played silently on channel 1.

When I am in the rehearsal space, my Herbert is very quiet.

Can I do something about this?

It probably a wireless phone or some other electronic device.
My Diezel's let me know that the phone will ring about 10 seconds before
it actually does. Also if you have a phone very close to the amp you may hear a
constant ticking noise.
 
it can' t be a secondary device: it' s constant and when I touch the input jack it' s gone


It is a grounding problem in the house


But what can I do about it?
 
I'm sure they are using a capacitor to filter out the unwanted voltage on the ground line.
