Hello Diezel Geeks! My Herbert is on our new single. It's in some of the live shots of the video. You can see it on youtube at https://youtube.com/watch?v=etShrjyUhhk Unfortunately there's more shots with the Line6 on the stage next to it that's not mine, and youtube is a bit low-res, but it's definitely there with it's extra bright blue LEDs!!! It was a live gig so there was no room for multiple takes, just filming of whatever they could...
The song was recorded using it too. If you listen to Love the Abuse on our myspace page which is on the B-side it's got some nice jangly Diezel clean too! The distorted bits of LTA were done with the Diezel too; some with Ch. 3, and some bits mixed with another take with the Diezel and a Voodoo labs Proctavia for added filth!
Trashed on our myspace page was recorded with the Diezel too. That was recorded at home. It was either recorded with the compensated out, or with it running at quiet room volume using an SM57 or 58 (can't remember) straight into a £400 Spirit SX 24 channel mixer for mic pre's, then into my M-audio Delta1010LT. I'm not exactly the best recording engineer either but it doesn't sound bad really, just lacks some of the clarity of the proper studio ones. A mastered version of it is on a compilation called Kill City Volume 1 that went to all the College radio stations in the US, so if you know anyone over that side of the pond request it!
BTW, it's going into a Marshall 1960A 4x12 as I can't afford a better cab atm. It's all recorded with my Parker I'm playing in the video (my only decent guitar!)
Enjoy...
