If I had to sell all but one amp I would keep my Herbert This amp is Amazing from top to bottom. Don't get me wrong I love all my amps' but what ever Peter does to them is Amazing. My hats off to you Peter and Friends at Diezel...

My Herbert gets used daily. What's surprising is how great it is in channel 1 and 2 with a Tele and Strat. I always thought of the Herbert as the end of the world drop tune evil beast but it's mid gain and cleans with my Tele (Lollar Special T's) and my Strat (Fralin Woodstock's) are incredible. I'm talking cut without being harsh. Perfect blend with my Marshall/Les Paul for rock rhythms.

I second that! What an amazing amp! Amp for life. My favorite guitar through it so far is definitely my strat with the Duncans! Such warm tone cutting through without being harsh like my ibanez guitars get. Ditto on the stat and herbert combo! I just bought my 2nd strat and cant wait to rip it through that diezel!
I wish they made a combo amp!! I need something for really small acoustic gigs. suggestions?

I must agree. I cant play another amp live ever !! Its just that damn good. Nothing sounds or feels the same! I play a few different amps for practice..but nothing compares to the Herbie!!

Was so close to getting me a new Herbie the other day to add to the arsenal, but figured with already having the VH4, I had enough Diezel power. So, I broke ranks and ordered an Elmwood M90 for something a little different. Hope it was a wise decision.
