Good day, Diezel heads.

First THANK YOU to Peter D. Himself for assisting me awhile back thru some troubleshooting ops, and recommending the use of JJ KT77s. The tone is fantastic and my Herbert, trustworthy.

Was wondering if there were any Diezel cats out there that would be willing to share their expertise on how to dial in that infamous brown sound specific to the KT77s?

Thanks,
Larz

Just a start but with a few tweaks you'll be very surprised at how many different vibes you can coax from CH2 on Herbert. It's my favorite channel on this amplifier besides CH1 & CH3. :)

Check out the 14th setting for CH2 "Brown" - Sound, Super Strat/HB Bridge pup. The first setting in this table was accidentally misplaced.

Reduce mid and turn the mid cut on. Intensity at 10 o clock and volume by taste.
And if you like Nuno Bettencourts sound crank treble and presence to the max. It's really punchy, fast and bites through anything.

Awesome. Thanks very much for the info everyone. Appreciate it!
