Yesterday during band practice I discovered none of the loops (parallel, switchable and serial) are working anymore on all the three channels.
First I thought it was the Xpression that didn't work but I ran some pedal effects through the loops but got no signal either... :(

I noticed that two of the power tubes have blue glow to them, could that be related to the loops not working anymore?

I hope you guys can give me some pointers on fixing this problem myself before sending it to a tech.
Thanks a million! :)

The pwr tubes don't affect the loop(s).

The loops aren't working but the amp still makes sound? What happens when you plug your guitar into the serial return (crank master) ? If thats working then the send tube may be dead.

You may want to change V4 and V5 for new ECC83s.

Yes, the amp just sounds normal but I will try the serial return as soon as possible.
And I was planning on getting new power tubes anyways so some new preamp tubes won't hurt either. :)

If the serial or switchable loop is not working the
amp would be quit.

So it´s not possible, that 3 loops doesn´t work.

Let´s rename Your subject "loop question"

;)

Ok, thanks the both of you. Anyways I tried to plug my guitar in all the returns but I don't get a signal from those at all.
Any ideas left?

you must be doing something wrong, it doesn't make any sense.

I think if you change your v4, v5 your problem will be fixed regardless.

Maybe I am... :(
I'll test the Herbert thoroughly this Saturday.

A little update: A did a full retube and all is working fine now thanks to you guys! :)
I loaded the Herbert with KT88 and it sounds massive at this point, I'll record some clips next week.
