The best amp for metal, ever. In the top 3 best amps ever.

WHAT an amplifier. With moderate-high output BKPs the thing tears my head off every time. Oh, and the clean channel is the best one of any Diezel save the Schmidt.

Herbert has been my number 1 for a while now. Simply sublime...amazing in every way.

Love me some Herbert!
 
I am a fairly new Herbert user and love it really much! Peter made a really nice amp here :) I am pretty much impressed by its clean channel :) Would be cool if the +/- of channel 2 could be switched via Midi.

in a room full of great high gain, the herbert is in the top 3. kept it ONLY because of it's unmistakable tone. and i want it to go local, not shipped. but thats the only reason. who am i kidding, it's cool as fuck just to have one. for metal, it's the diezel to have. (i will not listen to laura, and her foul tempting of me with the d-mol.)

though the warhead stack or the isp sub/marshall cabs, it rattles the glass and shakes the floor and walls. never messed with the tubes, just plug in and go. gotta love all them loops, too.

the best part is knowing papa is on this forum. or maybe the best part is that i have not had to ask papa any questions.
 
Just done a quick clip on my phone of my Herbert. It's just the phone audio and it's just me messing around but gives an idea of the grind from the BKP/Diezel combination!! ;)

 
I love the herbert, ive been using them for the last 5 yrs.
i had the einstein and vh4 but didnt like either of them, the herbert is perfect for me.
