Had a strange problem with a Herbert last week- the head lost all its stored channel info. As this happened halfway through a gig, I was not happy...anyone any ideas why this might have happened? In light of this incident I would like to back up all the midi data onto disk so if it happens again I can just load the head right back up again. This would avoid 1) having to go through every midi preset in the whole show and resave the channel info on the head while the audience stands there waiting or 2) using the back up head (which is a non-Diezel and not midi capable). I have checked the Herbert manual but this mentions nothing about data dumps or global backups. Is it possible to save and reload midi info into the head?

Data dump is not possible on Diezel amps. But what did happen ?
Do You had a power tube crash ?

I'm not sure what happened. We were halfway through a show, all was fine, then the head just defaulted to channel 1 and stayed there. We are using a Ground Control Pro to control the Herbert and the FX rack, all the other midi gear was switching OK but the head just froze. I set the rig up the next day and it was the same. We had to go through each preset and save the correct channels on the head all over again.

Please check Your tube fault LED´s.
I assume You had a power tube short and
the head works again.

During this short the controller got a spike from the
power supply and made a reset.

Sorry, but it should work again. Please contact me,
if this happens again.
