Hi everyone,
I've been experiencing something very strange with my Herbert mk2.
A few days ago I turned on my Herbert and let it warm up for a few minutes as usual. When I turned off the stand by switch a very strange and very loud noise blasted out. It sounded like someone was deep frying and using a tape gun simultaneously. This sound went on for roughly 10-15 seconds. After that, the amp worked as usual. the tube fault lights on the rear panel didn't indicate any issues.
This issue is still ongoing, every time I turn off the stand by. If anyone could shed some light on what the issue could be I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, if anyone knows a good reputable amp tech in the greater Toronto area please let me know.
Thanks,
Jess
