Hello everyone.

I'm a lucky owner of a Diezel Herbert, and I simply love this amp.
But.... I need some advice from you guys, because I'm a total failure when it comes to EQ's and stuff like that.

I want a bluesy sound out ov my herbert, but can't quite figure out how. I'm thinking of ch2- (not+).
Does anyone have some settings that you are pleased with and would like to share with me?

And another thing. I use a bogner 2x12" front loaded cabinett, and experience that my sound is very "beefy" and hollow from time to time. I want something that is dead-on-tight. Should I buy a rear loaded cab to get ass-tight sound? And which one do you reccomend?

Actually front loaded cabinets are tighter than rear loaded. What speakers are you using?

I don't think its easy to dial in a great blues sound out of that amp...

Front loaded cabs are tighter than rear loaded cabs. What you have should deliver a pretty tight low end.

The herbert really is an ingeniously simple amp to use. Select channel 2-, turn the mid cut off, set your knobs to noon, start playing, and slightly adjust 3 EQ's and gain until you've got what you are looking for. From there you can turn on your mid cut and adjust the intensity for how much mids you want to scoop from the overall sound. But, with blues I would think you'd just leave it off. Just adjust your deep and presence to taste.
