Herbert Ohms Question

If you have two cabinets both are 8ohms mono then I know you want to use the 2 4ohm speaker outs. However I have a unique situation and want to get feedback to see if what I want to try is possible.

I have two cabinets that are 8ohms mono or 4ohms stereo. I want to use a stereo power amp into one in on each cabinet and the diezel head on one in on each cabinet. Basically using my diezel as dry on both heads and the power amp is feeding my wet signal to each cab as well, so the mix of wet/dry is in both cabinets and the wet cabinets are separate.

First I want to check on if this is possible without damage to the Diezel Herbert. After I now I can try this safely I will let my ears be the judge to if it sounds as good as just running the diezel dry into one cabinet and the wet side stereo into another cabinet.

Hope that was not too confusing, LOL and thanks for any input.

Those cabs then have 8 Ohm speakers, you need to rewire them to have 8 mono and 16 stereo. Then you can safely hook each half of them to your Herbert.

Thank you for that answer, that is kind of what I thought would have to happen, but wanted to make sure there was not a safe way to do it without having to rewire.

You Rock Duesentrieb!!
