Hey guys, so I got the Gt-10. I was wondering if you can help me with what is the best way to run it into the Diezel's to get the least coloring of the tone. I tried so many configurations and not sure which one I like or is even right. I have it midi connected so it is switching channels on the Herbert, but the blue store light is flickering and when I bank up to presets 5-8 to make new ones, it won't let me manually switch to a certain channel on the Diezel but won't store it. Is there some thing I need to do to get it in a different mode or something? I am a novice with the whole omni mode or other mode, as when I got my heads, the GC pro and GC responded right away to the heads. I am wondering if there is something I need to do in the GT-10 or the Diezel. Also which loops and what goes to what, if you can help with in terms of hooking it up. I tried so many like i said. I obviously dont want it in front of the amp as then delay and reverb etc should not be in front of the OD. I am using this ONLY for FX.....NOT distortion models. I will turn off all FX and get close to a true bypass (as all Boss pedals do not have true bypass) I was running it a few different ways connectivity wise and got it so it barley made a change in the true diezel distortion. I am so anal I made two sound clips for myself to hear any difference and it was negligible. Anyhoo, any Gt-8 or Gt-10 users, if you can share with me the best way to wire this thing, and settings I need to do on the herbert or the Gt-10 I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys!! once she is up and running perfectly, I'll make a vid. The autoriff and looper are hysterical. ;)

Put it in the parallel loop and turn the direct/fx level on the GT-10 to 100% wet.
Don't know about the MIDI prob, but Omni Mode usually means the device sends the MIDI data on all 16 MIDI channels.
Some MIDI controlled devices have no "MIDI mapping", i.e. you tell the device that program change no. 1 means "switch to preset 37", 2 means "switch to 12" and so on. If the device can't be set up like that, you can choose a particular MIDI channel for it to receive the data on. This will prevent it from reacting to MIDI messages which are meant for other devices in your MIDI chain.

You'll have to find out if the GT-10 sends program changes or controller changes. These are two different MIDI messages. All my devices react to program changes, and I guess so do the Diezel amps.

Thanks man, yeah once I set it to Omni mode I was able to now switch channels and save them on the presets of the GT-10 which is geat. I just now need to figure out what is the best way to wire it. I tried the parallel, but there are so many input/output/send/returns etc on the GT-10 I dunno what goes to what     Thanks man! Any suggestions on the wiring?
