Herbert power amp & midcut question

Why do I feel difference turning on/off midcut when I run external preamp into switchable return jack? Doesn't midcut affect only preamp section?

I believe the mid cut circuit on the herbert is done threw the power amp not the pre amp like most scoop or mid cuts on other company amps

That's what I thought too, but it does change the sound.

My midcut doesn't work using an external pre either.

I've had a cable pluged in my switchable send too at the same time, but I can't see why it would do anything anyway.

On the bright note Herbert's power section is the best power amp I've ever dealt with. Peter can I use parallel loop at the same time for delay? Maybe a possible modification?

i dont know details but i know with it on, intensity around 8:30 level at 12:30 it makes my leads the sex!
