Hi Peter,

For a short time I am a proud owner of Herbert and I was wondering whether you could tell me when it was build. The serial is 001/1086. Thank you very much in advance.

Also not only for Peter but for anyone else as well: I know that a cable can heavily influence the sound. Would you recommend any specific speaker cables? I thought of a more mid-ranged cable but I have no idea where to start. And last but not least when we are just speaking about cables anyway. What instrument cables do you use/recommend?
 
It´s 2008 model.

Please use a speaker cable with 2 square millimeter
minimum.
 
That sounds like the more square millimeter the better the cable, is that true? Would you also recommend a brand. I have found cable with more than 2 mm² for a price range from 20 to 70 €.
