Hi I just got my Herbert a week or so ago and picked up a use columbus so I was playing around with it today and one thing is puzzling me. If I just use the switchable loop the volume stays pretty much the same . when I jump the switchable with the parallel as outlined in the manual I get a huge volume bump with the loop engaged.
When I use the switchable function where the loop trails off I get a big volume jump and I cant figure out where the extra volume is coming from. If I turn the knob in back down enough to equalize things I lose the effects..
I should be clear I guess I am running the send from the fist switchable loop and bringing the return back to the parallel loop return input. Did I not read the manual correctly? I just checked it out and going into the parallel loop only the effects are on all the time.
I like the way the loop trails off in the switchable mode into parallel but the volume bump is too much
