Sacrilege I know, but I'm curious if anyone's run a Diezel (Herbert to be specific) through the EVH 5153 4x12 cab?? If so, your impressions?

:gethim:

I noticed that running my Herbert thur different cabinets gives than a less than desired effect. There were only a few that sounded ok ( Bogner, Mills, Splawn) but it didnt sound the same as the Diezel Cabinet(s). I never played a 5150 III cabinet. It may sound OK.But in my experiences, it just wasnt the same using a different cabinet. But thats just my taste.

Hmm... well, the only cab I have at the moment is my Mesa Stiletto 4x12. I've gotten a line on one of these EVH cabs at a very good price so that's why I was asking. Thanks for your input though!

Ive played my herbert thru a EVH cab it sounded ok i thought my mesa cab sounded better to my
ears but thats my opinion....and on the other hand iam really gassin for a diezel cab

I played my herbert throught a mesa traditional cab it was ok,But you will not fully get a hold of the herbert untill you play it throught a diezel cab and then you better hold on there is that much differance. I never tried the evh cab because once I got my first diezel cab I never looked back ( I now have six of them :D )and I have played alot of cabs in my 44 years. I will update my pics sometime. GO FOR THE DIEZEL CAB...H&H :2thumbsup:

I too am gassing big-time for a Diezel cab, but I have an issue with transporting a 4x12 right now. Don't have the SUV I had when I got the Mesa so it sits at home (I rent a cab for the occasional gig we do). Have any of you run the Herb through a Diezel 2x12?? That most certainly IS a possibility.

I tried a Herbert thru a new 2x12 Diezel cab and it was awesome.
