Herbert Tube retainers?

do i have to take the chassis out of the headshell to remove the power tube tube retainers?


would like to try some bigger tubes, and seems like they're not gonna get along with 6550's or 88's?

ok, so if i take the screws out from top, there won't be any nuts or anything falling down inside the amp?

Nope, the screws are held in by rungs(like a welded nut thing).

Sockets are soldered to the board, just loose it.
