When using different powertubes, which tube sockets effect the tone the most? 1&6, 2&5, 3&4?

I have 6 6550 tubes in it and like it. I still miss something the EL34 had and i could have a little less punch the 6550 offer. I do have 5 El34, so why not experiment.

No power tube position is more important then the other power tube position.
